Here is how Swagbucks works:
You earn “Swagbucks” or “SB” for doing activities you already do online everyday. “SB” is their point system, which you earn and redeem for gift cards or paypal cash. Earning Swagbucks is easy: just shop at your favorite retailers, answer surveys, watch videos, search the web or find a great deal; these are just a few of the ways to earn Swagbucks.

There are so many ways to earn money with Swagbucks I could probably write an e-book on it, but I am just going to keep this post narrowed down to how I personally use Swagbucks to make money. Once you join, both the Swagbucks website and app are so easy to navigate, you will easily find your own ways and preferences to make tons of Swagbucks.
Earn Swagbucks by Shopping:
The easiest way to make significant money or “SB” is to make Swagbucks Shopping your first stop when making your online purchases. You can earn cash back from all the popular retail partners like Amazon, Walmart, BestBuy, Ebay, plus many more lesser-known places, over 1500 retailers in all. Earn Swagbucks for every dollar you spend, plus get access to exclusive deals and coupons from your favorite retailers.
Swagbucks pays out as well, or even better than, other popular cash back programs. But note: there are always specials going on with all cash back programs, so be sure to compare your cash back rate to your other cash back programs and always get the best deal you can. It’s free money back for buying something you were going to buy anyway.

Another great way to earn Swagbucks is to buy gift cards from mygiftcardsplus.com (owned by Swagbucks). Just go to menu on the Swagbucks website and click “buy gift cards” and it brings you directly to mygiftcardsplus.com. They have lots of discounted cards to choose from, all of which earn you tons of Swagbucks.
Answer Surveys:
Answering surveys is a great way to boost your earnings, although it is not my favorite way of earning Swagbucks. All too often you don’t qualify for a survey and get booted out, which gets pretty aggravating. They DO at least give you a consolation prize of 1 to 5 Swagbucks, though, and if you are patient enough it can be very rewarding. I usually only do the surveys when there is a bonus involved, whether it be a 50% bonus, that I need to fill a square on the Swago board (more on Swago in the bonus section), or to finish out my daily to-do list bonus.
A fun way to earn Money: Swagbucks Live!!
Everyone loves a challenge, I know I do. So one of the fun and challenging ways to earn swagbucks is the Swagbucks Live App. It is a seperate app but is linked to your Swagbucks account. Swagbucks Live is a super fun live trivia game show. You can earn SB just for playing, but the challenge is to answer all 10 multiple choice questions correctly to win your share of the daily grand prize of $1000.
How to Earn some Bonus Swagbucks:

When you log into Swagbucks, look on the left hand sidebar for your daily To Do list. Most of these can be done in seconds and you’ll be awarded a bonus if you complete all of the tasks on your list each day. You can click on each of the items on the list and it will take you directly to where you need to go to complete the task.

- Watching Videos: You can earn SB for watching videos. The reward vs time is small, but it checks a box off the daily to do list.
- Video Hack: you can open the videos in a separate background tab and let it play while you are doing something else.

Swago is just like BINGO. Each square of your Swago Board is filled with different activities from Swagbucks. Once you complete the requirements of a particular activity the corresponding square will change colors, signifying it’s been completed!
Once you complete a pattern you can choose to submit your board for the bonus SB associated with that pattern or work your way towards completing your full board and earning the maximum Bonus. You can only submit your board once and only choose one pattern to earn a bonus for. So obviously choose the pattern that earns the biggest bonus. Also don’t forget to submit your board before the deadline. You will not earn anything if you miss the deadline.

Best way to use Swagbucks:
I have found the best way to earn Swagbucks consistently is to make the little things a habit. Answer your daily poll question each day, or knock out your daily to-do list. Most of what you do on Swagbucks only pays small amounts, you’re not going to be able to quit your day job or anything. But, a few minutes here and there is like putting some change in your piggy bank each day. In a few weeks or months you will easily see a significant amount of money in it.

The fine print for bonus $10
